We exhibited at the Arts Marketing Association's Digital Marketing Day in London last week. The event focused on "Being Human" - exploring ways to humanise digital marketing and shift from purely transactional approaches to creating genuine connections with audiences.
We set up a table to demonstrate Basker and had valuable conversations with arts marketers about their current CMS challenges. Many were frustrated with platforms that require developer intervention for simple updates or lack proper ticketing integration. These discussions continue to shape our product development.
Sessions throughout the day covered practical topics including web accessibility, user journey mapping, website optimisation, and thoughtful use of AI in marketing. The event brought together marketers from theatres, museums, and cultural organisations looking for better digital tools.
